چکیده
In article number 2010962, Yuanjie Su, Guangzhong Xie, Jun Chen, and co-workers disperse polydopamine into barium titanate/polyvinylidene fluoride nanofibers to enhance the interfacial adhesion, mechanical strength, piezoelectric properties, creatively mimicking muscle fibers. The enhancement was theoretically verified via phase-field simulation. A nonwoven textile further fabricated for wearable physiological monitoring, which paves a cost-effective way develop high-performance self-powered bioelectronics personalized healthcare.

Bio-sensing textiles - Wearable Chemical Biosensors for Health Monitoring
In recent years much progress has been made in the integration of physical transducers into clothing e.g. breathing rate, heart rate and temperature [1]. The integration of chemical sensing into textiles adds a new dimension to the field of smart clothing. Wearable chemical sensors may be used to provide valuable information about the wearer’s health, monitoring the wearer during their daily ro...
متن کاملWearable and Washable Conductors for Active Textiles.
The emergence of stretchable electronics and its potential integration with textiles have highlighted a challenge: Textiles are wearable and washable, but electronic devices are not. Many stretchable conductors have been developed to enable wearable active textiles, but little has been done to make them washable. Here we demonstrate a new class of stretchable conductors that can endure wearing ...
متن کاملNanomaterials for Functional Textiles and Fibers
Nanoparticles are very interesting because of their surface properties, different from bulk materials. Such properties make possible to endow ordinary products with new functionalities. Their relatively low cost with respect to other nano-additives make them a promising choice for industrial mass-production systems. Nanoparticles of different kind of materials such as silver, titania, and zinc ...
متن کاملSmart Textiles Toward a Wearable Motion System
This paper presents the development of an innovative measuring system devoted to the human movement analysis using smart textiles that are realized with electrically conductive elastomer composites (CEs). CEs show piezoresistive properties when a deformation is applied and in several applications CEs can be integrated into fabric or other flexible substrate as a strain sensor. Moreover, integra...
